In Mahesh Babu's adopted village of Burripaelm, the government school building whose reconstruction the superstar has funded is now standing with its head held high. The school building with new classrooms was inaugurated only recently. The school has been named after the superstar's grandmother, Nagarathnamma.

On Wednesday, this is what Mahesh Babu's team's official Twitter handle said, "The compassion you are showing towards the development of the Burripalem school is highly appreciated. You guys are a true inspiration to many. Your efforts are priceless ... extremely grateful to Ghattamaneni friends unit." The tweet quotes a speech from a school festival.

The philanthropic work is close to the actor's heart. Sharing an update about the same recently, he had said, "Our new school building in Siddhapuram. Construction in progress. Looking forward to its completion. Thanks to our architect Sudhir Reddy and his team for such amazing work."
