Mahesh Babu has revealed the reason behind his resolve to finance the medical interventions saving poor infants and kids. His NGO has so far saved more than 1000 kids from fatal cardiac problems by financing surgeries.
Appearing on Unstoppable, the talk show on AHA (OTT platform), Mahesh Babu has told Nandamuri Balakrishna that his son Gautham was too small when he was born. "His was a premature birth. We are rich and so, we could get him treated. The same infant is now 6-ft tall. Since then, I started thinking about poor people. How would they save their kids? This made me embark on this cause of financing the surgeries of poor kids," Mahesh said.
The 'Sarkaru Vaari Paata' actor shared bonhomie with the 'Akhanda' star on the show. He revealed that he has never been to the famous KBR Park in Jubilee Hills ever since he crossed paths with a cobra there many years ago.
The show will be premiered on February 4.
