Mahesh Babu laced his speech at the success event of 'Sarkaru Vaari Paata' with a touch of the personal. He spoke of his kids' reactions after watching the Parasuram Petla directorial, which hit the screens on May 12.
"After watching the movie, my son Gautam shook hands and hugged me. My daughter Sitara told me she found my performance awesome," the superstar said. Mahesh also recalled his father's words. "Soon after he watched 'SVP', he told me it will be bigger than 'Pokiri' and 'Dookudu'," the actor said amid the cheers of his fans who gathered at the STBC Grounds, Kurnool.
Mahesh lauded the film's heroine Keerthy Suresh, antagonist Samuthirakani and also composer SS Thaman.
Director Parasuram reiterated that 'Okkadu' is the film that made him want to enter the film industry and wield the megaphone. He thanked his technicians, especially Thaman, cinematographer R Madhi, editor Marthand K Venkatesh, lyricist Anantha Sriram, and others.
Producers Naveen Yerneni and Y Ravi Shankar of Mythri Movie Makers, and the producers at 14 Reels Plus, came in for a mention.
Thaman went gaga over Mahesh Babu's energy levels. "Keyboards would burst when playing music. There is so much energy in him," the most-happening composer said, adding that 'Dookudu' was his first film with the superstar.
