Mahesh Babu calls the latest blockbuster a classic

Mahesh Babu has described 'Uppena', the latest blockbuster in the town, as a classic. Taking to Twitter, the 'Sarkaru Vaari Paata' actor appreciated the lead pair, Vaisshnav Tej and Krithi Shetty, calling them stars. He also doffed his hat to Sukumar (one of the producers) and Devi Sri Prasad.

"Uppena... One word... CLASSIC! Buchi Babu Sana (director), you've made one of those rare timeless films... Proud of you! The heart of Uppena is DSP... it’ll be remembered as one of the all-time great music scores! This is your best work till date DSP... Keep rocking! (sic)," the 'Sarileru Neekevvaru' actor wrote.

In a subsequent tweet, he added, "It’s really heartwarming when you see two newcomers come up with stellar performances.... #VaisshnavTej and Krithi Shetty... you guys are stars!" Mahesh said that 'Uppena' is a timeless film.

Debutante Krithi was overwhelmed by Mahesh's appreciation and wrote, "Oh my god!! Thank you sooo much sir. Our team’s hard work and patience has finally paid off, we are soo overwhelmed by the HUGE response but this, the superstar himself is calling us stars feels absolutely incredible."

Replying to the superstar, Tej's elder brother and actor Sai Dharam Tej wrote, "Lovely words of appreciation coming from the superstar... thank you so much Mahesh anna...for your blessings and kind words... these youngsters will remember this for long (sic).""
