The makers of 'Sarileru Neekevvaru' and 'Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo' have taken a decision to help their distributors, especially overseas distributors.
The movies won't be streaming on any digital platform till 60 days of their release. If Mahesh Babu's movie will be sold to Amazon, Allu Arjun's movie's rights will go to Sun NXT. "With streaming sites making huge dents in theatrical revenues, self-imposed moratoriums will be of great help. Recently, 'Saaho' was streamed within 50 days, while 'Gang Leader' within 27 days," a source comments.
The satellite rights of the two Sankranthi biggies were recently bagged by Gemini TV.
If 'SN' is directed by Anil Ravipudi, 'AV' is from Trivikram Srinivas.
