Superstar Mahesh Babu has given voice overs for the films Jalsa, Badshah, Acharya and a few more. But now, he will be dubbing for the Mufasa character in the film Mufasa: The Lion King. The film is gearing up for a grand release on December 20th, 2024.
Mahesh Babu's voice was featured in the film's trailer for Mufasa character and we have more details on who will give voice for other characters. Brahmanandam will be lending his voice for Pumbaa while Ali will voice for Timon characters.
In the trailer, Nani lent his voice for Simba character but it is not revealed now if he will continue in the main film as well. However, Satyadev and Ayyappa P Sharma are also on board, to lend voices for Taka and Kiros roles respectively.
The latest film's plot is, "Lost and alone, orphaned cub Mufasa meets a sympathetic lion named Taka, the heir to a royal bloodline. The chance meeting sets in motion an expansive journey of an extraordinary group of misfits searching for their destinies."
The film is touted as both a prequel and sequel to the original film.
