Mahesh and Pooja Bhatt launched KALYUG on DVDs and VCDs released by Shemaroo.Excellent Music and Performances propel the movie to success

Recently renowned filmmaker Mahesh Bhatt & Pooja Bhatt launched the VCDs and DVDs of the musical thriller KALYUG. The film starrs Kunal Khemu, Deepal Shaw, Smilie, Aushutosh Rana and Amrita Singh. Emraan Hashmi makes a dynamic special appearance. Though said to be Kunal’s big screen debut, the actor was also seen among the kids gang in Aamir Khan’s Hum Hai Raahi Pyar Ke. One of pioneer name in Home Entertainment Shemaroo has released the DVD & VCDs.

Kalyug’s VCDs and DVDs have been released six weeks after the theatrical release. Directed by Mohit Suri and produced by Mahesh Bhatt, the film carries on the legacy of hit music from the Bhatt camp films. The music is by Anu Mallik and features one of the hottest numbers Aadat, Jia Dhadak Dhadak and the funky Aadat Remix.

Kalyug - Storyline: Kalyug is one man’s story of his journey to hell and back. Everything seemed normal in Kunal's [Kunal Khemu] life. There was even a pleasant surprise in the form of Renuka [Smilie], a young girl whom fate had brought to Kunal's doorstep. Soon, the two were in love, which culminated into marriage. But their happiness was short-lived.

The most sacred and intimate moment of a couple --is captured on camera and put up on a porn website. Unable to handle the humiliation, a distraught Renuka commits suicide. Kunal decides to prove his innocence and uncover the truth behind the blue film racket, which leads him straight to the dark underbelly of Zurich. Armed with only a picture of a famous Indian porn star Annie [Deepal Shaw], Kunal gets ready to find and fight a faceless foe. But what Kunal does not know is that one man's tragedy is another man's entertainment.
