The body of popular villain actor Mahesh Anand aged 57 was found in a decomposing state at his Andheri residence in Mumbai and it is suspected that he may have passed away a couple of days back.  The veteran's wife lives in Moscow and he has been staying alone over the years.  Though no suicide note has been found police are probing in that angle and also if it is a murder.

Mahesh Anand has starred in many movies featuring top stars Amitabh Bachan, Sanjay Dutt and Govinda and in Tamil he has acted as the antagonist in Rajinikanth's 'Veera' and Vijayakanth's 'Periya Marudhu'.

For eighteen years Mahesh Anand was without work and only on January 18th, 2019 his comeback film 'Rangeela Raja' the remake of Rajini's 'Nettrikann' starring Govinda was released.  He had shared at that time ""I'm happy after 18 years i had onne movie released today,,,,rangeela raja,,,,,,,, i am just therefor 6 minutes in the end,,, hope you all will welcome me back. (sic)"
