Chiyaan Vikram has an impressive line up of films under production that includes 'Cobra' directed by Ajay Gnanamuthu, Mani Ratnam's multistarrer 'Ponniyin Selvan' and 'Chiyaan 60' directed by Karthik Subbaraj in which he is teaming up with his son Dhruv Vikram for the first time in his career.
A few months back Vikram started shooting for a 300 Crore project 'Mahaveer Karna' in which he plays the epic character of Karna and a war sequence involving chariots were shot. The shooting however got stalled after that due to various reasons but the team were always positive about restarting it.
R.S. Vimal the director of 'Mahaveer Karna' has moved on to his next project which is also a big budget historical with a leading Malayalam hero on board. Industry insiders are stating that Vikram's 'Mahaveer Karna' is dropped though Vimal has stated in many previous interviews that he will be resuming his ambitious project in the future.
