Actor Mahath Ragavendra had acted in few movies in small roles alongside Simbu, and gained prominence with his act in Thala Ajith's blockbuster movie Mankatha. He was later seen in several movies like Vijay starrer Jilla and Simbu starrer Anbanavan Asarathavan Adangathavan.

Mahath was seen as a contestant in the second season of Bigg Boss and was one of the prominent contestants who garnered attention, and after the show, he had bagged two movies, Kettavannu Peredutha Nallavanda co-starring Aishwarya Dutt and another movie with Yashika Aannand.

Now the actor has bagged his next movie in Tamil, where he will be seen playing an actor. This yet to be named movie will be directed by debutant Rajesh Kanna and will have four heroines. Debutante Bhagyashree is one of the heroines, and talks are on with top actresses for the other three roles, and Mahath's fellow Bigg Boss contestant Thaadi Balaji is also a part of the movie.
