It is a known fact that Simbu and Mahat are childhood friends and the duo share a very close bond.  In fact it is Simbu who actually suggested that Mahat participate in the 'Bigg Boss 2 Tamil' assuring him that it would give him a much needed popularity boost.  

After Mahat returned from the 'Bigg Boss 2 Tamil' sets he visited his best buddy Simbu who welcomed him by first fondly slapping him and then hugging him in true loving fashion.  Mahat has posted his video with Simbu which you can enjoy below that proves how close the duo truly are.
