'Maharathi' directed by P Vasu of 'Chandramukhi'-fame and produced by Vakada Appa Rao on the banner of Sri Lalitha Kalanjali Productions with the blessings of RB Choudary with Balakrishna, Sneha and Meera Jasmine in the lead and Jayaprada playing a special role had completed the shooting and other post-production formalities.

Kannada music director Gurukiran had provided melodious tunes to all the songs and the audio was proved a big hit. It is learnt that Balakrishna is playing a role with three different dimensions and shades.

Thotapalli Madhu had provided the story for this film and it would be a different film for Balakrishna, say the director and producer. The producer is making every effort to bring out the film on January 24.
