All the post-production formalities including the DTS final mixing were completed for 'Maharathi' directed by P Vasu and produced by Vakada Appa Rao on the banner of Sri Lalitha Kalanjali Productions with Balakrishna, Sneha and Meera Jasmine in the lead.

The first copy of the film was ready and is ready for submission for censor certification. The censor formalities would be completed by Sunday or Monday.

Already the audio of the film had hit the market and is getting a tremendous response from across the world. Popular Kannada music director Gurukiran made his debut into Telugu through this film.

It may be mentioned here that Balakrishna would appear in three different get-ups and is portraying a role with three different characterizations and with different shades.

Senior artiste Jayaprada is playing in a key role in this film. The film is all set for release on January 10.
