Even as 'Mahanati' is in its glorious second-week run at the box-office, the makers of the Savitri biopic have planned to hold special screenings at old age homes in the Telugu States.  It's because old people are the ones who would be most nostalgic about and emotionally attached to Savitri.

"Wise people and senior citizens are thronging theaters like never before to experience the nostalgia of golden era. We have decided to organize special screenings at old age homes all over from June 3rd week," Swapna Cinemas has said in a statement.  

"We are hereby giving a call for old age homes to send in their details to vyjayanthimahanati@gmail.com," the makers say.  Directed by Nag Ashwin, it stars Keerthy Suresh, Dulquer Salman, Samantha, Vijay Deverakonda and other ensemble star cast.
