'Mahanati' shoot to commence from..

The shoot of 'Mahanati', a biopic of legendary actress Savithri, will commence from May 10. Directed by Nag Ashwin of 'Yevade Subrahmanyam' fame, it has Keerthy Suresh essaying the late actress' role.

Anushka will reportedly essay the role of Jamuna, whereas Samantha, as has been reported, will play the role of a journo through whose eyes the film will be narrated. Prakash Raj, reports suggest, will essay the role of Gemini Ganeshan.

This Telugu-Tamil bilingual is set to raise quite a lot of curiosity.
