‘Mahanati’ has today completed its Censor formalities. ”Our film has got a clean U certificate from censors. We are glad that CBFC members showered praises on the movie,” the makers say.
And the biopic, directed by Nag Ashwin, is gearing up for a grand release on May 9.
“The response for the teaser, trailer and the music has been great. Keerthy Suresh’s spitting image looks like Savitri. Dulquer Salmaan essays Gemini Ganesan while Samantha Akkineni and Vijay Deverakonda play key roles,” the makers say.
The film has got ensemble star cast of Dr. Mohan Babu (as SV Ranga Rao), Dr. Rajendar Prasad, Prakash Raj (as Chakrapani), Malavika Nair, Bhanu Priya, Shalini Pandey, Divya Vani, Srinivas avasarala and others.
