Jayaram's newest movie (infact, the oldest one) waiting for an official release seems to be the musical love story 'Magic Lamp'.

The movie which started its work way back in 2000 had recently made an unofficial release at Kothamangalam last week. The movie has all the big names under its credits ranging from ace director-scriptwriter Renjith with the story, Sibi K Thomas-Udhay Krissna in the scripts and Haridas as the director.

The movie features Meena as the heroine, playing a character named Anupama. Jayaram appear as four different characters in the movie.

Kalabhavan Mani is a folklore singer, while Jagathy is an advocate in the movie. The film features four songs by Ouseppachan in the lyrics of Kaithapram.

Produced in the banner of Kalamandhir and presented by Kiran Varma, Khushboo and Rasika also appear in the female lead of the movie. Also in the cast are Janardhanan, Baiju, Kottayam Nazeer, Mamukoya and K P A C Lalitha.

The movie which is ready for an official release will grace the theatres, most probably by this weekend.
