Superstar Rajinikanth’s ‘Lingaa’ is progressing at a breakneck speed. Withthe second schedule nearing completion we are yet to have an official word on who plays the villain role in the flick.

Ever since Telugu actor Jagapathi babu was roped in it is being speculated that he plays the villain role in the flick directed by K.S.Ravikumar. However we are yet to receive an official confirmation on the role that will be played by Jagapathi Babu in this film.

Now a prominent villain actor has joined the cast of ‘Lingaa’. Actor Dev Singh Gill who played the lead villain role in blockbuster Telugu film ‘Magadheera’ was spotted in the sets of ‘Lingaa’ in Hyderabad.

The actor himself has confirmed his inclusion in the film and also revealed that he will be appearing in a crucial role in the sequences set in pre-independence era in the film. It is to be noted the story written by Pon Kumaran for the film has been bifurcated into contemporary and pre independence milieus and Rajini plays dual roles.

Dev Singh Gill however refused to confirm whether he plays the villain role in the film. But the young talent did not forget to express his reverence for the Superstar. Gill said, while he has worked with many stars, he has learnt the importance of understanding others only from the Superstar and names him as a simple and grounded person.
