A remastered version of 'Magadheera' is in. The film is going to be re-released in theatres in a grand way in the Telugu States as well as the US for Ram Charan's birthday this March.

Geetha Arts today announced that the Rajamouli-directed actioner, which had Kajal Aggarwal as the heroine, will have a substantial release. The release strategy will be reminiscent of the strategy that the banner adopted when Pawan Kalyan's 'Jalsa' was re-released last year.

In 2009, 'Magadheera' was not only Rajamouli's magnum opus (despite 'Simhadri' and other hits) but also the Telugu film industry's crown jewel. It garnered Rs 60 Cr in Share terms, scripting historic highs.

Its re-release has been hugely awaited by Mega Power Star's fans. When the episode where the hero slays one hundred enemies is played out, it is surely going to be viewed as one of the most effective scenes executed. A good chunk of today's audience were too young when 'Magadheera' was originally released.
