'Magadheera' completes 600 days

The biggest grosser of Tollywood until date, Magadheera completed 600 days in theatres. Ramcharan, Kajal Agarwal, Srihari, Devgill starrer socio drama, Magadheera is a national sensation. The movie directed by S S Rajamouli and produced by Allu Aravind was made with a budget of Rs 42 crore and went on to collect Rs 80 crore at the box office and international market. M M Keeravani had composed music for it.

This film released on July 31, 2009 and the movie is still being screened in theatres. It won nine Nandi awards and three national awards. Ramcharan won the special jury Nandi award for his performance.

The movie is being screened in Lakshmi theatre in Kurnool since the time the movie released. The movie broke all the records on all parametres till date. Earlier movies of Superstar Krishna like Alluri Seetharama Raju and NTR's Bobilli Puli, Maheshbabu's Pokiri etc played in theatres for over an year. With almost two years over, Magadheera has created a new record of being the movie screened for the longest time in Tollywood theatres.
