Blockbuster film Magadheera that broke all previous box office records of Tollywood is now all set to hit the screens in Tamil as 'Maaveeran'. Though a few fans were upset that the film is releasing almost two years after the Telugu version, Geeta Arts cited technical problems as the reason for two year delay.

Geeta Arts tied up with Red Giant movies from Chennai to release 'Maaveeran' in the first week of May.

The film is also releasing in Malayalam as 'Dheera'. This Ramcharan and Kajal Agarwal starrer film that released in 2009 was a national sensation. It bagged several national awards and nine state government Nandi awards for its excellence in narration.

The posters of the Malayalam and Tamil version of Magadheera have been released by Geeta Arts on Tuesday.
