A youngster who had traveled in a bus and was caught for the act, got violent and broke the bus glasses, and people traveling in the bus caught hold of him and thrashed him. It was also found that the youngster was in inebriated state.

The incident happened when a youngster boarded a government bus traveling between RS Mangalam and Madurai, and as he was under the influence of alcohol, was out of control, having an argument with the conductor that he will not get ticket for the travel.

Following this the conductor stopped the bus near Madurai Meenakshi Hospital and made the youngster to get down. However unexpectedly, the youngster threw a stone on the front glass of the bus, damaging it. As he tried to escape after breaking the glass and injuring the conductor and a passenger, public surrounded him and stopped him from escaping, and thrashed him. He was later handed over to the police.
