Gamechanger is one of the upcoming films in Telugu. Shankar directs the film. Ram Charan plays a dual role in the film as a father and son. Meanwhile, the film's story is penned by filmmaker Karthik Subbaraj. To bring more authenticity to the project, the makers roped in Madurai MP S Venkatesan to work with them.
According to a report published in a popular English news daily, director Shankar is fond of Madurai MP Venkatesan's writings. Venkatesan is a popular writer in Tamilnadu. His novel Veera Yuga Nayagan Velpari is Shankar's favourite. He has the right to make a three-part movie. So, Shankar requested Venkatesan to collaborate with them for writing.
The inputs Venkatesan has given reportedly helped the film. The knowledge that Venkatesan possesses as a parliamentarian has helped in the design of Ram Charan's characterization as an IAS officer. Not only that, but he also used to visit the sets when needed to share his views and inputs.
Director Shankar seems to have carefully crafted the film, and we have to wait a few more days to witness the magic he created on the big screen. Billed to be a political thriller, the film is hitting the screens on January 10th, 2025.
