Court's decision on Karunas' bail application

Actor and MLA Karunas nowadays is frequenting the news for all the wrong reasons. He was in the news for his controversial speech against the CM of Tamil Nadu and a higher police official. Though he was arrested in this case, he was let out on bail.

Following this, he was hunted by the Tirunelveli cops for damaging the car of Muthiah the leader of Thevar Pervai in 2017. Regarding this, he had also sought an anticipatory bail in the court. The bail came to a hearing in the Madurai High Court branch.

The court has granted the bail and from this, we shall understand that the actor will not be arrested.
