Riythvika who impressed one and all with her stellar performances in 'Madras' and 'Kabali' has a few intersting projects in her kitty including 'Sigai' and 'Onaigal Jaakirathai'.

Riythvika has signed a super exciting new project in which she plays the title role and it is the biopic of V.N. Janaki the first woman chief minister of Tamil Nadu.  Janaki was a leading actress in the forties and later married superstar M.G.Ramachandran and became the woman behind his success in cinema as well as politics.  After MGR's death in 1987 Janaki Ramachandran became the Chief Minister but her government only lasted for 24 days.

The Janaki Ramachandran biopic will be helmed by Balakrishnan and Riythvika has stated that the role is a blessing in disguise for her and she has started her homework inn preparation for the February commencement of shooting.
