In 2017, a couple filed a case against the famous Tamil actor Dhanush claiming that he is their biological son and sought monthly maintenance from the star. Kathiresan and his wife K. Meenakshi alleged that Dhanush is their third son, who left his hometown to pursue a career in the film industry.
Dhanush submitted his paternity documents and denied all the allegations made by the couple. The Madurai judicial magistrate VI court dismissed Kathiresan’s petition as there were no supporting documents to prove that the paternity documents were forged.
Now, it is being reported that the couple has filed an appeal asking the Madurai Bench of the Madras High Court to quash the order by the judicial magistrate dismissing his plea stating that there was no evidence to support that the actor produced fake documents.
Sources say that a notice was issued against actor Dhanush in relation to this case by Madras High Court already. The latest we hear is that Dhanush was summoned by the court allegedly after Kathiresan demanded a police inquiry to look into the authenticity of the paternity documents.
