The controversy over the 'Beep Song' deepens day by day. The song attributed to Silambarasan and Anirudh Ravichander has enraged the women rights activist as well as a huge section of general public as it allegedly demeans women.
Complaints have been registered against Simbu and Anirudh for allegedly being the masterminds behind the song and the two celebrities had received summon to appear in a police station at Coimbatore on December 19, 2015, which is tomorrow.
Meanwhile, Silamabrasan had approached the Madras High Court seeking a stay order on the police summon, claiming that he was not responsible for leakage of the song and the offensive words used in the song has been the handiwork of miscreants working against him.
However the Judge who admitted Simbu's petition for hearing today has refused to stay the Police summon which means Simbu and Anirudh will necessarily have to appear in Race Course Police Station, Coimbatore by next morning.
The judge posted further hearing on Simbu's plea on January 5, 2016, and ordered for a reply notice from the Police to be submitted on that day.
