Yesterday IndiaGlitz had reported that Producer Kalaipuli.S.Thanu has filed a petition in Madras High Court seeking direction for the authorities to take stern action against the websites illegally uploading his production venture 'Kabali' scheduled to hit the screens on July 22.

In addition to this Thanu has filed another petition today seeking same kind of action against local satellite cable channels illegally telecasting pirated versions of the film.

Today both the petitions were taken up for hearing and the Judge has ordered the authorities to block all the websites that screen the film illegally.

The representative of Tamil Nadu Arasu Cable TV Corporation has assured during the Court hearing that strong mechanism is already in place to stop the illegal screening of new films in local cable Television channels and tourist vehicles such as busses. Those who violate this order will be prone to stringent action.

Full credits to producer Thanu and his proactive vision. He has got a Court order against attempts to make pirated copies of his mega budget film with a stellar star cast that includes Superstar Rajinikanth.
