Karthi`s next movie “Madras” has been ready for quite some time now and was subject to delay owing to a lot of reasons. Now the film has been certified by the censor board with U/A rating, something the makers have been expecting lately.

Starring Karthi and Catherine Teressa in the lead cast, the movie is directed by Ranjith of Attakathi fame. The production company Studio Greens, brought Ranjith on board after their unusual hit in Attakathi, it also marks the second time Santhosh Narayanan will be joining hands with Ranjith.

Touted to be a story of a youth hailing from North Madras, the film will have the commercial elements one needs to know and an emotional connect to the city. The film is slated to hit the stands from the end of September.
