Two men have been arrested in Madhya Pradesh's Mandsaur for uploading a TikTok video using an illegal pistol.

The accused, identified as Rahul Gairi and Kanhaiya Lal, are seen riding a bike and brandishing an illegal pistol in a video that went viral on social media. As soon as this was brought to the knowledge of the police, they arrested the two men. "We found this video on social media but were unable to ascertain the exact location where it was shot. A colleague of mine told me that the railing shown in the video was of our police station area. We also found that the name Rahul written on the hand of the person brandishing the pistol. Hours later we nabbed them," a police official reportedly stated. The police also retrieved three live cartridges and confiscated the bike they used in the video.

One of the accused, Rahul, reportedly mentioned in a statement, "Just to get more comments and likes on Tiktok, I made this video. I arranged a pistol from a friend. I never thought that the video could get me into trouble. It may end my career."
