Four national-level hockey players killed in accident

After the car they were travelling in met with an accident on Monday, four national-level hockey players died, while three others sustained injuries.

"The players were traveling from Itarsi to Hoshangabad to participate in Dhyan Chandra Trophy when the accident occurred. The accident took place near Raisalpur village on National Highway 69," according to a report.

The injured players have been rushed to the hospital. The deceased have reportedly been identified as Shahnawaz Khan from Indore, Aadarh Hardua from Itarsi, Ashish Lal from Jabalpur and Aniket from Gwalior, all of whom were hockey players of MP sports academy in Bhopal.
