Kudos to debutant director Sunil Kumar Singh! He has given a refreshing subject that is a constituent of all ingredients of a commercial cinema. The dexterity of this television serial director turned big screen director is admirable and `Madhuve Mane' is a thoroughly enjoyable film for the family audience.

There are some people who does not trumpet but show it on screen. Sunil Kumar Singh belongs to this category. He has showed his knowledge in a commercial cinema with a popular star like golden star Ganesh.

The mixture of tragedy, comedy, romance, vengeance, thoughtful ideas, extremely good music and cinematography is the first winning point of `Madhuve Mane'. This film title with two 'M', will it be another 'Mungaru Male' that was also with two 'M' starting words?  The contents are very strong and screenplay is highpoint of this film by producer H A Rehman who made two big films in the past Yajamana and Huchcha (both were remakes of Vannatha Polai and Sethu respectively). This time is an original script and well driven out film for the masses. It is a treat for the golden star Ganesh fans!

Sooraj catches the train in a hurry and when he saves the old man from virtual fall he hits at Suma inside the train that makes him to save Suma also. This earns a good name for him. It is a marriage party bogey and Sooraj gets an invite for Suma marriage.

In the marriage hall the bridegroom who is about to tie the sacred Mangalasutra gets a phone call of bomb in his pocket that a rose flower. The caller for cop Dushyanth who is the bridegroom instructs him to send Suma with Sooraj in a jeep and wait for the next instructions. The jeep is also attached with a bomb says the unidentified caller. After a long drive with Suma the petrol in the jeep is empty and Sooraj stop the jeep at a forest area.

Sooraj and Suma without network in the mobile are forced to stay for one day in the dense forest. On the second day the phone call what Sooraj makes is astonishing for Suma. She further hates him and pushes him from a top. She runs helter-skelter and reaches the village of Sooraj. This is where she finds Sooraj in an injured status. The film takes a new opening with a flashback that confirms Suma her would be cop Dushyanth is a criminal. It is a model village with 100 percent literacy of Sooraj where his sister is the brilliant student. She has been selected by NASA. Before she reaches NASA in a fake shoot out in Bengaluru Sooraj sister Spoorti falls to the bullet of cop Dushyanth.

Now it is the return of Dushyanth to Sooraj place to invite him for his wedding with the same Suma. Is it going to happen? How Sooraj wins over everything in breathtaking style is the end part of the film.

Golden star Ganesh after a long time has got a good role to perform. He is already darling of masses from his looks and dialogue delivery further enhances his strength in this 'Madhuve Mane'. Shradda Arya is convincing in her debut in Kannada. Sharan, Hanumanthe Gowda rendered good support. Chiraag alias Avinash of Jugari is a nice choice for the role.

The music and cinematography are the other two additional boons of this film. Three of the five tunes of Manikanth Khadri are melodious. Shekar Chandru in his camera showed everything very pleasant except the jerks. The editing of Sounder Raj especially in the second half gives a new feel to the audience.

It is a Paisa Vasool cinema from debutant Sunilkumar Singh and producer Rehman!
