Madhuri Dixit Nene is an actress, dancer, producer, TV personality, and musician. She has acted in over 70 Bollywood films and is one of the most popular actresses in Hindi cinema industry.
She was one of the country's highest-paid actresses in the 1990s and early 2000s, receiving six Filmfare Awards, and has appeared seven times in Forbes India's Celebrity 100 list. In 2008, the Indian government honoured her with the Padma Shri, the country's fourth highest civilian honour.
