The country observed National Cancer Day on 7th on November and on the ocassion, actress Madhuri Dixit publicly applauded her son Ryan for his thoughtful gesture towards cancer patients. Apparently, Ryan has decided to donate his hair to the Cancer Society and after growing them for around two years, he finally had them chopped on National Cancer Day.

Madhuri took to Instagram to share a fast forwarded video of her son getting his hair cut and wrote, "NOT ALL HEROES WEAR CAPES….. But mine did ?? On the occasion of National Cancer Day, I would like to share something really special. Ryan felt heartbroken seeing several folks who were undergoing chemo for cancer. With everything they go through, they lose their hair."

She added, "My son took a call of donating his hair to the Cancer Society. We as parents were thrilled with his decision. As per guidelines, it took him almost 2 years to grow the required length of hair. And this was the final step. Here we are today standing proud. @drneneofficial."

On the work front, Madhuri was last seen in the film 'Kalank' and she is going to make her digital debut soon where she'll share screen with Manav Kaul and Sanjay Kapoor.
