B-town master helmer Madhur Bhandarkar is a believer who has his faith in the almighty intact. The national award winning director doesn't miss an opportunity to thank god and express his gratitude for the kindness, support and blessing he receives which results in some good work on the silver screen.

After finishing the first schedule of his highly awaited ‘Heroine’ starring B-town power house Kareena Kapoor, Madhur was spotted at The Golden Temple in Amritsar where he came to thank the almighty and also seek blessings for the second schedule which begins next month.

The firm believer in God, Madhur said, “Spiritual visits are for the soul; hence this trip is a part of my regular spiritual dosage. I'm rejuvenated and elated to be here. I thank God to have supported me through the first schedule of this journey of Heroine.

When asked how things are shaping up for his dream project, Madhur replied, “Heroine is shaping up to be a very contemporary film with a different premise and different strata. This movie, like all my other movies, is a mix of facts and fiction. It is a bigger movie. It has a larger span, more characters, more costumes… a journey that revolves around an actress’s life and the showbiz.”

He further adds, “Kareena Kapoor is playing the role of the main protagonist in this movie. Arjun Rampal is playing the lead. Randeep Hooda and Shahana Goswami are also playing key roles. UTV Motion Pictures and Bhandarkar Entertainment have joined hands again and I am glad we are working together on this movie. I have always had great experiences working with Ronnie Screwvala and Siddharth Roy Kapoor and looking forward to the same in this movie.”

We are glad that ‘Heroine’ is shaping as per expectations and it’s equally nice to see that Madhur understands the importance of being thankful. Gratitude is the best attitude, right Madhur?
