Actress Madhumitha who had been one of the contestants of the third season of Bigg Boss game show hosted by Kamal Haasan had been evicted from the show after she harmed herself cutting her wrist, which was against the rules of the show and since then she had been in news for legal issues.

Recently there was a news that a case was filed by Madhumitha against the channel for not letting her give interviews regarding the incidents that made her take the decision. She has now met press for the first time post the incident and has opened up. She said that the reason for the problems that happened was a poem she said on the show, which was asking Varuna if he was also from Karnataka that he did not give water to Tamil Nadu in the form of rains, and this was politicized by the other contestants.

She said that she stopped others from speaking unnecessarily, and that Kasthuri and Cheran alone spoke in support of her. She had received a letter from the channel that what she spoke will not be telecast, and after this letter the other contestants who were against her got even more excited, and started indulging in gang harassment and they even abused Kasthuri for supporting her.Only after this that Madhumitha had cut her wrist, as per her latest statement.

She said that for saying a poem for Tamil Nadu, even without the concern that she is a woman she was degraded, and said that she will expose all those who said the poem as a wrong one and staying in Tamil Nadu to the public. She further said that she was disappointed that Kamal Haasan did not enquire on the incident, and requested him to send his fan or someone from his party to observe what happened in the episode and serve justice.
