The blockbuster Vikram Vedha` directed by Pushkar- Gayathri is well into its third week occupying the big screens in most places and is expected to continue in smaller theaters with new films like VIP2`, Taramani` and Podhuvaga En Manasu Thangam` releasing on 11th August.

An interesting information that Pushkar and Gayathri shared is that the Vedha character was written as a man who has learnt from his own life experiences and one who has the habit of narrating a story when talking about something. When the duo met Vijay Sethupathi to narrate the story they were shocked to find him speaking and behaving exactly like his character in Vikram Vedha`.

Similarly Madhavan`s character Vikram is a person who is a perfectionist and is adamant that he will do only those things that he feels strongly about what is right in his opinion. Pushkar Gayathri were once again in for a shock as Maddy too is a perfectionist in his real life and is very choosy about what he does and is truthful. Well, this sort of explains why the audiences go berserk, every time Maddy and VJS appear as Vikram and Vedha in the film.
