We all know that actor Madhavan will be acting in the Tamil remake of critically acclaimed Malayalam film 'Charlie' to be directed by Vijay. Now we learn that the ever charming Maddy will be acting in another film before starting this remake.

This film will also be directed by a prominent director whose earlier films have won National awards and critical acclaim. Director Sarkunam of 'Kalavani', 'Vaagai Sooda Va' and 'Chandi Veeran' fame will be directing a film with Madhavan. While the director is known for rural based films, this yet to be titled project will be entirely shot in abroad locations.

Maddy is currently stationed in the USA, undergoing intense fitness training regimes to lose the extra kilos he had gained for his beefed up role as a boxing coach in the super hit film 'Irudhi Suttru'.

We can be assured that Maddy will be looking young and stylish in this film. The 'Minnale' star will be taking up 'Charlie' remake only after completing Sarkunam's film.
