R. Madhavan who has evolved from a chocolate boy hero to an intense actor in 'Irudhi Suttru' and 'Vikram Vedha' has made a commendable debut as a director with the biopic 'Rocketry : The Nambi Effect'. He plays the role of India's most famous rocket scientist Nambi Narayanan while Simran portrays his wife Meena Narayanan and Suriya and Shah Rukh Khan star as themselves in the Tamil and Hindi versions respectively.

Rajinikanth who is known for his masala movies is a hardcore fan of movies that take Tamil cinema to the next level with content and never fails to encourage such efforts. He is currently gearing up for the shooting of his new movie 'Jailer' directed by Nelson Dilipkumar and produced by Sun Pictures with music by Anirudh Ravichander.
