Maddy and Vijay join hands

Over the past month there were rumors suggesting that Madhavan will reprise Dulquer Salman's role in the Tamil remake of Charlie' which even he denied. The makers of the Malayalam superhit were demanding a high price and many producers backed out.
Now some concrete news has come out that Superstar Rajinikanth's 2.0' producers Lyca Productions have bought the rights for the asking price and have brought on board director A. L Vijay. Maddy too impressed with the story has reportedly agreed to star along with Parvathi who will reprise her role from the original. Shooting is expected to begin in January 2017.
