It is a common practice in India to screen informative and innovative movies for school students without any charges. India's first 3D film 'My Dear Kuttichathan' and the biopics of Mahatma Gandhi, Kamarajar were screened to the students to furnish edutainment.
Now, a Tamil Nadu theatre has requested the government to screen a recent biopic film for the school students. Ram Muthuram Cinemas in Tirunelveli has requested the district collectorate to screen Madhavan's 'Rocketry: Nambi Effect' free of cost to school students. The charming actor felt touched by the theatre's action and expressed his gratitude to them through Twitter.
'Rocketry' marks the directorial debut of Madhavan. It is also the biopic of former ISRO scientist Nambi Narayanan, an aerospace engineer who was accused of selling ISRO's secrets to foreign countries and later exonerated. The inspiring film deals with rocket science, which will be a great learning for the next generation. Hence, the theatre management wishes to screen it without any charge for the school students.
