Actor Madhavan was last seen on screen playing a cameo in Jyothika starrer Magalir Mattum, and in a full fledged role in the blockbuster Vikram Vedha both released in 2017. Now the actor is gearing up for his next release, which is also going to be his first attempt at direction.

Madhavan's maiden directorial venture Rocketry The Nambi Effect is based on the life and times of former ISRO Scientist Nambi Narayanan, who was falsely accused in an espionage case and was released after many years after it was proved he did not commit the crime. He was recently awarded Padma Bhushan.

Now the movie Rocketry is all set to reach its final phase of shooting, as Madhavan shared the news on his social media handles that the India schedule of the movie has been wrapped, and the team will next shoot the final schedule in Paris and Belgrade. Maddy is currently shooting the younger days of Nambi and is sporting a clean shaven look for the same. The multilingual Rocketry has music by Sam CS.
