Madhavan is one of the rare breed of actors, who has managed to turn around his career in a big way. Madhavan managed to bounce back with vigor thanks to a big hit in Thambi.

Back-to-back hits helped Maddy revive his career in a big way. Now the actor is back at his best shuttling between Mumbai and Chennai.
His next for his mentor Manirathinam is progressing fast. Titled Guru, the movie features a slim Madhavan who has lost his extra weight thanks to strict diet and floor exercises.
Also he has committed himself to act in a movie to be directed by Sundar C titled Rendu. Also getting ready is his Arya being directed by Balasekaran.
Known for his commitment to realism, Madhavan says, 'My job is to give my best on the screen. As long as the people want me to perform, I would continue to do my job', he adds.
