Guess how Kangna referred to Madhavan during the making of their film 'Tanu Weds Manu'? For the pretty girl, the man was none less than 'Maryada Purushottam Ram'. Reason being that not just the character played by Maddy (Manu) always stayed in his limits and never even hinted of being strayed, even the man of the moment maintained a certain decorum right through the making of the film.

Says Anand L Rai, director of the film, "For the story to work, both Maddy and Kangna had to share a comfortable relationship with each other, on as well as off the screen. Thankfully there was a lot of travelling required during the making of the film due to which they further started bonding with each other."

It was during one of such bonding sessions where Kangna ended up teasing Maddy that she had a nickname for him. The man was a little surprised about that because in any case the world calls him as Maddy. Kangna too continued to tease him as she didn't readily spill the beans. A tad apprehensive about what was in store for him, he did get a little impatient before Kangna finally divulged the nickname.

"Maddy was of course pleased with what his co-star thought of her," says Anand, "Though he felt good that Kangna had a sense of respect due to his overall good conduct and demeanour at the sets, he was also embarrassed that he was being addressed as 'Maryada Purushottam Ram'."

Well, let's see for how long does the name stick to him after the release of the film.
