With reports almost confirming that teenybopper hero Madhavan is the hero of Shekar Kammula's next film, there are some interesting prospects for the young hero.

Though primarily a Tamil actor, Madhavan, right from his TV days, has had a pan-Indian appeal.

Madhavan, with his boyish looks and a baby-smile, has won the hearts of not just the teen crowds but also of the general public.

After his Yuva, Madhavan has not had any big release. For one he was busy with his own Hindi film and for another he had focused his attention on a off-beat Malayalam movie Made in USA.

Now that both are on the verge of completion, he is back with vigor.

Apart from his usual quota of Tamil movies, Madhavan is to do this film with Shekar Kammula, which in all likelihood, will have Sneha has heroine.

Many feel that if this film clicks then Madhavan may have a flourishing career in Telugu.

Already reports suggest that Madhavan has been approached by a couple of leading producers. It is just that Madhavan does films only if he finds the script impressive.

His arrival on the scene will further intensify the fight for the teenyboppers' idol slot.

Tollywood sure needs some variety, and Maddy is a welcome addition.
