Macta to remake Bhargavi Nilayam

MACTA, the association of technicians in Malayalam cinema, is planning to remake 'Bhargavi Nilayam' the super hit of the sixties, as their first venture in film production. The original directed by A. Vincent with the script by late Vaikam Mohammed Basheer, one of the greatest story writers of Malayalam literature was a classical cinema, featuring some of the greatest songs of Malayalam movie history.

Mammootty or Mohanlal will appear in the lead role of writer, played by Madhu in the original. The roles of Prem Nazir and Bhargavi of the original will be done by new comers. Faazil, Vinayan, Siddhique and John Paul will sit together to make a revised screenplay to suit the present day audience.

The film which will be a combined product of seven mainstream directors including Kamal, Vinayan, Joshy, Shaji Kailas, Siddhique, Priyadarshan and Faazil. This novel attempt will definitely become a master piece as the best known creative sides of Malluwood are coming together for a single flick.
