The first trailer for 'Macbeth' starring Michael Fassbender and Marion Cottliard has been released online.

'Macbeth' is being directed by Justin Kurzel and comes from the Academy Award-winning producers of 'The King`s Speech'. The film is a re-imagined version of the classic tale about a determined Scottish lord who aims to capture the throne with the help of his wife.

'Macbeth' is produced by See-Saw Films and is being distributed by StudioCanal and The Weinstein Company. 'Macbeth' boasts an incredible additional star-cast featuring Sean Harris, Paddy Considine, Elizabeth Debicki, and David Thewlis.

'Macbeth' arrives in theatres in UK theaters on October 2.
