'Maatraan' releases on October 12 - Official!

And it's official! Suriya's Maatraan will grace worldwide screens on October 12! This has been made official by the makers of the biggie. Following rumors about the much anticipated flick's release date the makers AGS Entertainment have announced the release date as October 12.

Starring Suriya as conjoined twins in parts of the film and Kajal Aggarwal as the lead lady, the film by KV Anand is a commercial entertainer with music by Harris Jayaraj. Maatraan has been canned in various international locales including Russia.

The film has some of the action scenes captured using motion capture technology and is Suriya's biggest movie till date. It aims at family audiences and the coming together of the successful Ayan trio and the expectations on KV Anand after the stupendous success of 'Ko' has made the film red hot in trade.

Maatraan is jointly produced by AGS Entertainment and Eros.
