The shooting of Suriya's next 'Maatraan', directed by KV Anand, has almost neared completion. "But for few scenes, the entire film has been shot. Both Anand and Suriya are happy with the output," circles close to the unit say.

An action thriller within commercial format, 'Maatraan' is produced by Kalpathi S Aghoram's AGS Entertainment. Kajal Aggarwal plays Suriya's love interest, while music is by Anand's lucky mascot, Harris Jayaraj.

"Anand, who plans everything well in advance, has finished Maatraan as expected. He will soon sit on post production works which he has planned to complete by the end of February or by the beginning of March," they further say.

'Maatraan' is expected to hit the screens in April as a bigger summer treat to Kollywood movie buffs. Meanwhile, Ajith's 'Billa 2' too is getting ready for a release around same time. So a bonanza awaits audience, so to say.
