'Maattrraan' is more crisp and racy now, as the film has been trimmed by 21 minutes following feedback from critics and audience, who felt that the movie was bit lengthy.

"Some scenes have been removed and the film is now more interesting. Audience are now thoroughly enjoying the movie without feeling it a little draggy," theatre sources claim.

Starring Suriya as conjoined twins, the film directed by K V Anand hit the screens amid huge expectations Friday last. It witnessed huge openings and multiplexes have been showing the film in more than one screen.

Though Suriya's performance and Anand's packaging were highly appreciated, it was felt that the film's length posed a problem. Now that the running time has been reduced by 21 minutes, there should not be any complaint.
